Abstraction
When brainstorming for abstraction, I came across some TV installations on Youtube. It inspired me to do something based on the media we are influenced by as we grow up. I felt that a lot of the information shared online and through our television is becoming repetitive.
Now that we make our own media as well, the amount of information we have access to is overwhelming. Our day to day experiences are affected by the messages and information we recieve through our screens. In a way the media controls and watches certain aspects of our life.
Brainstorming and planning
Ik had met behulp van een AI generator, wat concepten uitgeprobeerd en een moodboard gemaakt. Daarop begon ik met dingen uitschetsen. Tijdens dit process liep ik erg vast op een paar dingen. Ik wist niet hoe ik de media uit wou beelden. Mijn originele idee was ook gebaseerd op een TV installatie.
Na de expositie, was het duidelijk dat ik buiten het kader van een scherm moest denken en meer moest kijken naar de hoeveelheid aan informatie in de media.
